Tired & Tea!

Tired & Tea!

Sorry for not posting today, I was super busy all day and passed right out when I got home from school for like four hours, and I am STILL tired! Why is our society so tired all the time? No matter how much anyone seems to sleep, we are all still tired. Ugh.

Well, I was looking for a quick fix for my sleepiness to make me feel better, and I found just the right and tasty thing. I found a copycat recipe for Starbucks Iced Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
Tazo Passion Tea
Light Lemonade
Sugar (or other sweetener)

Directions:
First you'll need to brew two bags of Tazo Passion Tea to every 8 ounces of water. (I brewed 8 bags of tea in 4 cups of water. Let the tea steep for around 15 minutes. After it is done steeping, put in in the fridge to chill.

Then get your travel mug or tumbler, and add however much ice you desire. Then mix 2 parts tea to 1 part lemonade, also adding however much you want into your mug. Lastly, sweeten to desired taste and voila! You have a copycat recipe of Starbucks Passion Fruit Tea Lemonade! <3 (SO GOOD!)

Well, I hope you enjoy the tea recipe posted above! :) Also, do not forget about the breast cancer fighter shirts posted on the previous blog posts. Order yours soon! Thank you for your support.

~Exhausted! But enjoy your night! :)

Springtime!

Springtime!
Spring Weather, Spring Cleaning, Spring Renovations...

Spring has finally decided to come around here in Adams County, Wisconsin! I am too excited for fishing, mudding, flip-flops, etc! Right now it is 58 degrees, so that is already almost 60! I have spent literally almost the whole day already outside, and even now  I'm just looking out my window enjoying the sunshine! Woo!

Well, now I am inside and looking for crafts and whatnot to do today and tonight, since my high-school has off today. I am thinking of making about making some more pictures for my wall or an inspirational quote collage! (Will posts pictures later)
I am also thinking about starting the cleaning/renovation of my downstairs patio! My downstairs patio is right outside my bedroom window and I would like to make it into somewhere I can sit and hang out and enjoy the weather. I am going to power wash the siding and the cement flooring it has first because, well, it is gross. Then I have to start making seating and decorations! I found some really cool crafts and garden stuff you can make from pallets, which will be cool and easy, and a lot cheaper than buying furniture. Follow this link to get to 'inspiration' pictures of pallet patio furniture!

As for the area around the downstairs patio, I want to plant a lot of flowers, and have my own little garden. I am going to make the pallet garden bed (shown in picture) because it is easier to mantain and is a smaller sized garden, and it keeps out weeds!

*Also, I will be enjoying my night tonight by watching Duck Dynasty! I love Duck Dynasty Wednesdays! Excited to see what they will get themselves into on tonight's episode! Hope y'all tune into that too!*

Feel free to message me if you have any questions for me or have any requests about a blog post that you would like to see from me!

Inspirational quote for this post: "Good things come to those who wait, and work hard in the meantime!"
Spring time is definitely a time for working hard around here in Wisconsin. Spring crops, spring cleaning, and definitely some yard clean-up around here! Hopefully this is motivation to get you to start working on your cleaning, renovations, gardening, etc.

P.S.
Don't forget about the breast cancer awareness 'fighter' t-shirt from the previous blog post, 'Work Out, Work Out, Work Out! (The Fighter)'. This is very important to me that we spread the word and wear the word so that more people are supporting breast cancer because I just lost my aunt to breast cancer and I know people loose loved ones every day from breast cancer. Please support! <3

Work Out, Work Out, Work Out! (The Fighter)

Work Out, Work Out, Work Out!
Everyone seems to be on the new 'fitspo' rage lately, and I think I've boarded the fitspo train! I can't stop looking at fitness blogs or pinning things to my 'Fitspo!' board on Pinterest!

( GO HERE to see my Fitspo! Board; http://pinterest.com/caitlinpollitt/fitspo/ )

I think I am going to start working out to prepare for summer 2013, and I will be posting my work-outs, meal plans, progress and pictures on here! Woo! Excited!

The main reason I want to work out is because i have a lot of motivation, (haters). People want to bring you down and make you feel less than what you're really worth. Well under everyone's tough exterior is a beautiful shiny diamond waiting to be revealed. A lot of girls in high school have body issues. Some have eating disorders, some think they are too thin, some think they are too fat, not big enough boobs, etc, etc, etc. Society is messed up! Why let people that are photo shopped onto a magazine cover tell us what we should look like, or why even let the girl sitting next to you in class tell you that you need to loose weight, gain weight, or whatever? To be truthful, I am naturally small. I am not anorexic, I don't have problems, I just have a very high metabolism. The annoying thing is when I realized that it is 'offensive' to call fat people fat but it apparently isn't offensive to smaller people when you call them anorexic or skinny or bony. That is so irritating! So I want to prove to people that I am what they say I cannot be; Fit! I am very fit, and want people to see that I can be just as strong as they are even though I am smaller than them. Never underestimate the smaller women, because good things can come in small packages, big packages, whatever kind of package you like!

Inspirational quote for this post....
"It's not the size of the girl in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the girl."

P.S.
I designed a motivational shirt, you can wear it to work out, or just around. It's to support breast cancer, and it's a fighter shirt with the inspirational quote from this blog on the back! Please feel free to buy your own, I already have mine! We all need to support the fight for breast cancer more. Thanks for your support. Enjoy!

Introduction!

Hey y'all! I am starting this blog because there is just no place I can go that I can find things I really want, see things I want to see, or get questions answered with true and real answers; so I am starting my own place for everyone to be able to do just that!

I figure you all want to know about me, so here goes. Well, first off, I am a sophomore in Adams-Friendship High School. I know, you're thinking, oh what does a sophomore in high school know, but really, what does anyone know? I love reading, writing, anything outdoors, crafting, animals, and drawing. I am here to write an amazing blog, so I hope you enjoy reading.
